Uncertain Loved playing DX-Ball 2 when I was a kid, loved the music even more, so this album is a great addition to my collection! Favorite track: Beatwave.

DaCoda This brings me back to my childhood when I barely even knew how to touch a computer. It's somewhat surreal but beautiful to hear the so perfectly reconstructed making them sound from this time. Both Eric and Zephyrean should be proud on this EP.

My favorite track is Orbital flower. I can still remember dancing particles behind the scores. Dancing around while the music soothed you into thoughts. Favorite track: Orbital Flower.

Halogen Star This music goes back to my childhood when DX-Ball was played EVERYWHERE!

It still is if you think about it, but Sidewinder has cleverly remastered the best of the best! Favorite track: Seasons.

about

In the occasion of DX-Ball 2 turning 20 years, with a new edition of the game being published to Steam, Sheep Hour Records proudly presents a selection of the 4 songs that made the initial DX-Ball 2 soundtrack in 1998. You will immediately recognise these sounds if you're already a fan of DX-Ball 2 – but you never heard them before like this!

For this exclusive soundtrack release by Sidewinder, each song has been reconstructed from scratch within an unrestricted sonic environment, using the very same synthesizer that produced the sounds you would find in the respective tracker modules. As a result, you can now enjoy these songs as recreated revisions, preserving the clarity and stereo spectrum of the sounds you only heard as 8-bit monophonic samples.
