about

What is that eerie sound of dark mysteries drenched in a wash of hysteria and grief? It is Concerto Tragedia, the full-fledged symphonic synthesizer drama from Sidewinder, written in collaboration with Zephyrean...

If you already heard Strike A Panzai, you will certainly recognise the melodic theme of Concerto Tragedia. Starting out as an unfinished draft from 1992, the haunting orchestral segment was in fact the very first piece of music Eric wrote on his Ensoniq SQ-2 synthesizer.

After successfully reviving the initial two parts of the draft, Zephyrean was requested to explore where the song would continue its path as a completed composition, taking on the challenge to find the song's spirit and unravel the mystery of discovering its completed form.

The result is a dark and enigmatic synthesizer symphony, conveying the tragic drama of a story untold from a time forgotten...
